How to keep your pool clean all summer long
Materials to keep the pool clean
It is precisely at this moment that we need to ask ourselves several questions, such as: What condition is the pool in after the entire winter? What materials do I need to keep the pool clean every day? What can happen if the pool isn't properly maintained ? These common questions arise at the start of each swimming season and are very important to avoid unpleasant surprises in the summer and allow us to enjoy our pool with peace of mind.Measures before you bathe
To swim in your pool, you need to take the following precautions:- The ideal temperature for proper water maintenance is around 25 °C.
- The chlorine level in the water should be 1–3 parts per million (PPM)
- The pH level of the water should be between 7.2 and 7.6 (7.0 indicates absolute neutrality of the water).
- Pool maintenance staff should check disinfectant and pH levels at least twice a day to reduce the chances of transmitting germs.
We must also clean the surfaces surrounding the pools with water and chlorine , both the closest ones and other more distant areas such as recreational areas or playgrounds, since germs from pool water can spread very easily in these places.
